So, I just finished No Plot? No Problem! and am ready to hit the ground running... only one small problem. I was planning to fnd some great kickoff party or small gathering to knock out a few thousand words tomorrow night... only to be rushed to the hospital Tuesday evening, emergency surgery Wednesday... and still in the hospital today pending my release. And home bed rest until Wednesday and/or Thursday of next week.

Now I view this as a curse and as a blessing. Curse - With this being my first trip down the NaNoWriMo path, I was looking forward to kicking this off in a group atmosphere and really using other people to help motivate my lazy bum. Blessing - I will be so danged bored out of my mind stuck at home for three or four days... I'll probably knock out a third of my words.

Well, just send some words of inspiration (or kick-butt threats) to make sure I'm treading down the right path. I'll try to keep my word count accurate. Feel free to send 'em at me! Thanks, gang!

I hope whatever it was isn't too serious. Regardless, good to hear that you're still kicking, and still writing. :)

With the amount of meet ups the group has going on this month, once your recovery is over there will be tons to do as a group. Check the blogsite for the region, since Sean posted dates, times and places on the google calendar.

Sorry to hear you're laid up. Are you taking any pain meds? If so, you could end up with an interesting fantasy novel...
