Anyone else getting the last minute jitters? Can't wait to start? Literally restraining yourself from starting to write early? Making your outline more and more detailed in a desperate attempt to stay sane?

I'm excited! I've actually had to distance myself from it a bit (the up side of having very busy days and evenings this week) so I woulnd't get tired of it too soon. (I doubt I would, but ...)

Have had some second thoughts too, wondering if it's going to be too bland, but I'm sure I can find some things to toss into the mix to keep my characters on their toes.

My wonderful husband thoughtfully made sure that Sunday afternoon was free so that I could attend the write-in. :-)

That husband's a keeper!

If your novel starts seeming bland, you can always drop by one of the dare threads to spice it up. Some weird things come out of those...

I keep fearing that on November 1st I'll suddenly loose all the adrenaline I have right now.

Don't worry... even if you did, we're all standing by to get you pumped up again! But I think once you start, you'll realize that you have twice as much adrenaline.

Just so you guys know, I sent an email out this morning but the website appears to be running a bit slow with emails today, probably because of the extra traffic. The same might happen with the site's speed in general, so try to be patient when you update your word counts for the first few days.

Six and a half hours and counting! Eep!

OMG!!! Freaking out over everything right now. I'm so worried about not reaching my daily word count. I'm sure everyone goes through this but man do I stress more than normal people! Plus, I'm not even sure if what I'm writing will be all that interesting. I'm putting quite a few of exciting parts but the lat minute doubts and changes are starting to overwhelm me. A word of advice please??? Oh and by the way lastsyllable, I hope you're right about the adrenaline thing! I would also love it if some of you could look at my synopsis on my profile. Tell me what you think! (I love criticism so hit me with all you got.)

Advice, advice... Like I said in the slow email that will hopefully reach you before midnight, have fun! Don't let yourself edit what you've written, even if that means not reading any of it. Have fun. Don't worry about how good or bad it is, because no matter what, it will need editing later. Did I mention that you should have fun?
