This isn't so much 'WriMo-related as fun/curiosity. Do y'all have any Halloween plans?

Conversely, if you are catching this thread after October 31st: What did you do for Halloween?

Tonight (the 30th) we are having a costume party at the Hamilton-Wenham Library and watching the movie Stargate. The event runs from 7 to 10 pm. If any of you good people are there, I will be the one dressed as a goblin warrior. Maybe we can talk some Nanowrimo together.

Tomorrow I will hitting Salem with some buddies (dressed, again, as a goblin warrior. So imaginative.)

Since I will be entertaining them that evening I probably WON'T be starting my novel at the stroke of midnight, November 1st. Strike one for me. On the other hand, how cool is it that Halloween is like a kick-off event for National Novel Writing Month?

We live in Salem, so I'll have a houseful of guests all day Saturday, and, depending on how things go, a houseful of guests overnight into Sunday, so I'll be getting a slightly belated start, too. I have high hopes for Sunday evening, though. Costume this year is high-concept - "Autumn", personified, which enables me to wear my favorite dress and my comfiest boots. The boyfriend is going to be the grossest zombie ever. Cats haven't committed one way or the other thus far.

Handing out candy. That reminds me--I'd better get to the store before they run out of razor blades.

I'm joking!!!!!! I love Halloween! and I love to see the little ones and even the late night teenagers dressed up and having fun.

I'm in Salem tomorrow night as well...with jayshay actually hehehe Some friends have a place there and I am bringing a notebook. I have a tradition of starting to write, even if it's only a sentence, on the early end of the first and this year will be no different. Granted, I don't know when we'll actually get back to their place, but I'm going to write at least a paragraph once we do!
