I've joined NaNo before. I've written the 50,000 words + a few times. But one time was the brass ring. I got the book published. Fugue Macabre: Ghost Dance.
This may be a bad time to try to do this. Why? Because I'm the chairman (woman) for the 2010 EPICon (writers' conference) in New Orleans (March 4-7, 2010), my book Fugue Macabre: Bone Dance was released less than a week ago, and I've got another book, Misty Dreams, coming out November 20. Yeah, I'm up to my neck already. But because I'm nearly drowning, I'm having a hard time writing. So, I thought NaNo would be the answer to my prayers.
I'll do my best to give you a good word count to help the overall count. Let's show the other regions what New Orleans writers are made of!
