Congrats on your netbook, I am thinking of one also. May I ask what brand and model?

It's a Dell Inspiron... model number.........um.. hang on... *turns netbook upside down to look for it*

Inspiron 910 I believe :) I'm liking it so far, the only issue is the small keyboard, but most notably the fact that the apostrophe/quote key is on the bottom next to the menu key and below the period key... makes things a bit awkward i think, but it''s likely something you get used to over time. That's why I'm using it now, so i can get used to typing on it before NaNoWriMo hits :) :)

Does it house Microsoft Word by any chance? Curious what program you used to write with...

Congratulations! I got one earlier this year, and really like the portability. Mine came with Microsoft Works, not Word. I'm still a bit frustrated with the keyboard setup, so it's good to practice before Nano starts. My problem will be staying off the internet when I should be writing. Good luck with your writing!
