I didn't see one on the schedule (other than the midnight madness at IHOP). Was thinking afternoon-ish, Black Rose Caffe or Coffee Exchange. (Apparently I was sick from whatever crap was in the heater/AC in my classroom. They cleaned out the filter and I feel fine!)

Let me know if there's any interest in a write-in this Sunday!

From what I hear Black Rose is closed on Sundays. Coffee X Change never closes!

Thanks for letting me know! Actually, that's good to hear since Coffee X Change is just a few blocks from me! :-)

I'll be up as long as I'm not dead tired, which could go either way at this point. But CXC is really close to me, too, so it'll be great as long as it isn't packed.

How's Avenue Coffee for groups/seating/powerstrips? I'm game for Coffee XChange, but remember it always being kind of noisy and busy. There's a new it's A Grind next to the Trader Joes @ Campbell & River, too. A bit further, but one to remember for a future date.

I know that last Saturday it seemed to be a very popular spot with people who looked like students. I'm hoping maybe on Sunday they're home watching football instead or something. I tend to do brunch on Sundays at Blue Willow, so I'm thinking I'll go over to CXC around one in the afternoon. Sooner if I get out sooner. I'll try to remember to check out the other place this week.

Avenue Coffee would be a good place for a small group, especially if we can gank the couches. Those couches are heaven.

Which Coffee Exchange are we talking about? There are several, I think.

The one on Grant and Campbell.

Avenue coffee is great if you're using a laptop that has a lot of battery life. The place with the most amount of outlets would be the seating along the window. Other than that, it's the luck of the draw who gets to sit at the table with outlets.

I bring my power strip with me, so if there's an open area with a plug, people can piggy back off of it.

Avenue Coffee is on Campbell and Grant, next door to Eegee's.

Sezara: That's a very good question! :D Pawnhandler, when are you looking at going? Let me know so that I can post it. :D

Yeah, the couches are probably the best prospect for outlets as long as we have some power strips.

I have tentative plans to meet a classmate tomorrow morning to have a homework marathon, so if that's the case I will just stick around and save some spots for us.

I might be able to drop by for a bit around noonish, depending on how organized I am tomorrow.

This is a good question. I have plans at Avenue, anyway, so that's where I'll be... probably in an hour or so. Just have to eat something for breakfast.

I'll see people at 1:00 at CXC then. :) (Sounds like tenshiken will be doing homework anyway, so a hug from afar from me!)

I'll be going back and forth between homework and novel, haha. :) but if CXC turns out to be way too crowded (which is exactly why I avoid it like the plague--I don't work very well there because it's usually pretty cramped and difficult to get power), I'll be down the street.

I don't think I'll be free until the evening, if that, so I may be full of fail and skip it. T_T

I found a spot, since I'm a vulture and snagged a table as the men were leaving it. It seats six, and my surge bar is plugged in. It's in the back by the back door. I'm easy to spot.

CXC is too full - no tables available. I went to avenue coffee. It is across the street and 500 feet north.

I had a table! I just now left. People kept staring at me because I had the whole table to myself.
