Am I the only one who is hyper and twitchy and trying to get all my bills paid and chores done before tomorrow, all the while thinking I really should research and outline some more in these last few hours before November? Is anyone starting at 12:01 am? Setting your alarm for early? Am I taking this to seriously and should just go to the Halloween Party and pretend its just another day? Well, I am here reading blog entries so yes, I am looking forward to beginning this adventure. Not sure if I'll be awake at midnight yet but tomorrow I know I'll be writing. I sign up every year and every year life gets in my way. This year I actually have a writing plan (no plot, no characters but a germ of an idea). And I just read about the "prize" for winners. (The free proof copy). That is a real incentive to me so maybe this year, I'll get better than halfway (the farthest I've ever gotten).

I'm getting twitchy now that it's only a few more hours, but I was fine earlier.
I'm now busily going over everything I think I might need in preparation. I doubt I'll be staying up tonight to start "early" but it's tempting.
Edited to add that I too am using the proof copy from Create Space as extra incentive to finish. I got one last year and I am extremely happy about it. Can't wait to get another one.

And I thought I was the only one...doing chores, working a little bit on character and plot, and wondering if I will start at 12:01 or get up early and get started.
I am not sure yet.
