Has, or is, anyone organizing any North End write-ins? Like Lynnwood/Everett/Mill Creek area?

I lack the organizational skills to plan these things (plus I'm not the most dedicated NaNo-er, but I still participate >.<)

If someone is, I would love to attend! Or is there any interest in this..? Is it just me here? *Sadface*

I'd be interested. Monday nights work well for me... Maybe Monday nights at U Bookstore in Millcreek? Feel free to suggest others...

I'm in Lynnwood as well and would be happy to help organize. I'd suggest Cafe Ladro on 196th just west of 99. (They've got a good amount of plugs, I used them as my job hunting base earlier this year). There's also Aloha Cafe further down 196th, and Divan Cafe on 68th near Edmonds Community College.

I'm in southern Maltby and can drop down 522 to meet in Bothell/Kenmore. Or, I could also do Mill Creek. My best night is Wednesday but can also do Tuesday night and weekends.

Well, Mill Creek seems to be a more central location so far. I really don't mind either way, I commute from Edmonds to Bothell every day, and all those places are smack dab in between. So, I'm thinking maybe the U Bookstore in Mill Creek? How does everyone feel about that? Or, if you prefer, I'm good with either Cafe Ladro or the Aloha.

RainyCityChick, I would be happy to have you help out!! Like I said, I have no idea what I'm doing, really. I've never actually been to a write-in before. I also noticed that you're part of the Everett group (which I had never seen before! >.<), if any of them would like to join in, I'm all for it.

So, I'm good for any night during the week after 6pm (except Tues. and Thurs. this week, then any day after that). Now, if we can agree on a time.

So, maybe a vote? Places:

U Bookstore Mill Creek
Aloha Cafe (196th, Lynnwood)
Cafe Ladro (196th Lynnwood)

And day/time suggestions, so far we have Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday nights.

Aaaaand...go!

U-Bookstore Millcreek on Monday Nights has my vote. I would be in from say 7:30 to 9:30?

I also want to note that there is a write-in on Tuesdays at 1pm at the Mountlake Terrace Library starting today.

I'm in Lynnwood/Bothell area myself, commuting to downtown M-Th, so any of the locations along that 5/405 corridor works for me. In terms of day and time, Mon, Tues, or Wed all work, anytime after 4pm. Thanks!

I'm glad there are north end writers or would be writers, like me.
I'm not ready to join a write-in. No laptop, but I hope to get one. And I'd rather type than write with a pen---so, i'll keep in touch.
....don't know either place on 196th but whichever's chosen would be better for me than Mill Creek.

If I don't quit soon, I'll be at one of the sessions just to see how it goes.....i work, am in a group --eves--babysit....edit a newsletter....hardly any time to write...i'm doing this to discipline and force myself to write every day.

Cheers.
