Howdy Folks! The challenge has been made and Delaware has accepted. So lets have some fun taunting and challending each other to ever ascending word counts.
Here's the competition widget:

Here are the categories:
Wordiness Award : to the region with the highest average word count per active member.
Loquacious Award: to the region with the greatest number of 50K winners per active member.
"All Words Are Good" Award: In the NaNo tradition, every region which participates is a winner. This is not a lame consolation prize, because, ALL WORDS ARE GOOD.
An "active member" is a member who is "homed" to the region and who has logged a word count of any size.
This is the thread that, by the magic of the NaNo site, appears in both. And this is where we taunt one another. In a FRIENDLY fashion, of course.
Let the taunting commence!

Please here in Mississippi we have nothing to do but to write so we will totally win... (wait I am suppose to say outside of those large towns of Jackson, Tupelo, ... there is nothing to do).
There is a very important rule for this challenge... you mention KoP Mall or Christina Mall you are disqualifed :D (I really miss those malls rofl)
So Good Luck Delaware because you will need it

Good grief! PLEASE DON'T MENTION Christiana Mall (does this disqualify me for mentioning it? I hope not--I HATE THAT PLACE!); that place is scary and not at ALL like it used to be. Guess I'm getting old and remember the fun times when hanging out at the mall was cool--and not so confusing!
But I look forward to the challenge; I will do my best to reach 50K by November 30th. Good luck to both Delaware AND Mississippi writers!

Y'all northern folk don't quite seem to realize that we really don't have anything better to do here in good ol' Mississippi.
Not to mention, we've got state pride to uphold. Lots of pretty fantastic authors have come from here. We've got to make sure to keep that ideal going! Y'all don't stand a chance! Come on, Mississippi! Let's show these northerners what we're made of!

And as stated, we've got a reputation to live up to down here! *raises a rallying flag* C'mon, Mississippi! Let's take 'em!
