Well, that was fun - not to be confused with productive! :) Sorry about the grumpy baby; I'd hoped she would sleep rather more than she did. She seems to have lost that lovely newborn knack of sleeping anywhere, through anything!

Looking forward to the next one :)

Drat! I completely lost track of the date and only realised it was November once it had already turned. As such, I missed the kick off party. Unlucky!

Well, hopefully I'll see everyone next time! :)

It's still going! I left early because of the baby. People still plan on arriving for dinner, at 5pm and even later. You still have time!

Great to see you again Stace :)

And your baby is absolutely adorable. Don't stress about her being grumpy. She did well to get that far. There's no way in the world I would have been able to have my 5 year old sit still for that long!

I missed the kick off cause of an upset in plans that had me at a friends house for the night and now back at home after the heat nearly killed me.

I hope you had fun at the Kick-off.

I was planning to come along but I started writing on my home PC and when I looked up it was midday.

Yeah, the kick-off party was heaps of fun! We scared several Pancake Parlour customers and got told to shush by a 6 year old :-)

I think the best word score of the day was something like 2,500?? Not me. Nowhere near me :-)

Not to mention getting one of the staff to ask us what exactly we were doing. That was good :D

Thanks to all for organising it - I was there for a couple of hours in the morning (the redhead whose laptop died and resorted to the Luddite approach) and got about 1000 words written.

Sadly my plans for catching up (and getting ahead) on word count were stymied last night when I slammed my finger in the car door. The index finger of my right hand. Yes, I'm right-handed and yes, typing hurts. Although not as much as holding a pen hurts. Sigh.
