I thought i would start a thread so we can all chart our progress and not necessarily in a competitive way. Though others may inspire us to get our fingers burning the keyboards up.
Maybe to talk about how the first session of writing went.Talk about what music you are listening to in the back ground for white noise. What munchies are you devouring while you write. how may packs of cigarettes have you smoke

Just to bolster others and or commiserate with.

I'm off to a decent start. My fiance, her friend, and I did a word war for the first 30 minutes, which is an awesome way to start off. I listened to whatever Virginia's Pandora station was (pretty much solid country, I think). We're at my mom's house, so I don't have access to my usual musical collection or it would have been movie scores for the background.

Hope everyone else's first session was/is going well. Here's to a great start!

At the very top of the website, on the right side under the languages, you should see your username and a text box. Type your word count in there and click update. Easy peezy.

Gave myself a half hour to write last night and now have 705 words. My goal is 2000+ per day for the first week, because I'll be out of town over next weekend. Happy writing, pals!

Wrote about 300-400 words this morning at 1:30 then slept until 11a. Hit daily word count and updated while eating breakfast/lunch. Now off to see how far I can go today after a quick invigorating shower.

Someone needs to make a caffiene resupply run though.

happy nanoing everyone!

Not up to my wordcount goal, alas, but for good reason. I spent yesterday lying on my face with the migraine of the decade, periodically crawling out of my bed to embrace the porcelain goddess. From Friday night until this morning I couldn't keep down anything, and today so far I've sipped a bit of broth and Gatorade.

This is the first time I haven't started writing right at midnight; in fact, I didn't start until two this afternoon! So my just-over-one-K is pathetic, but this time yesterday I was contemplating posting my utter withdrawal from NaNoWriMo, and didn't do it only because I couldn't make my True Love understand why I was telling him my password.

I should be more-or-less upright again by the Tuesday write-in, though, so pack up your pencils and come over. I still have an untapped bag of Smarties left over from last night!

I remembered about nanowrimo this evening. I couldn't think of anything for an hour. I still don't know where it's going but I have at least 400 down. I had to stop early to start some ENG 102 essays.

I've made it just a little over the minimum daily so far. During most of the day I couldn't concentrate because I was busy with family. Tomorrow they'll all go back to work and school and I can give it my all.

i am currently in shock. usually by day 2 im at least a half a day behind in terms of word count. today its barely past noon and im up half a day. (err if a day is measured in 1667 words that is). I plan on writing another 1000 words today but right now things are flowing like molassus so I'm going to take a break happy noveling everyone.

got in another 1688 words tonight after i sat here waiting for the clock to strike midnight so i could strip off my work clothes and get into my writing togs. Last years T shirt and etc. not sure i will be able to make it to tuesdays write in only because i have to do grocery shopping, get the oil changed in the truck, and laundry. The "boyfriend" is going to be out of the house for most of the day so between chores i am going to write write write. If i can though i might drop in..
hope all is going well with everyone...
now to bed and Coast to Coast AM...

Yesterday was a sucky writing day!

Started out good around a 1000 words by lunch at work then it went dead.

My 18 year old truck's transmission needs major repairs. Not worth putting more money into it. Found another alternative ride but writing focus was nonexistant.

focus still sucks this morning but I hope that things will start popping at lunch. just leaving the part that isn't working hanging and moving on.

the time change is knocking me out too early. Normally go to bad after midnight. I was in bed by 11p last night. the world may be coming to an end.

Writing is going well except for the sleep thing.

Happy writing folks.
