Hello,
I know in past years there have been people in the Deland area on these forums; since I'll be in the area next Sunday (11/8) I'd like to host a write-in while I'm there. However, I'm having a hard time finding a location open on Sunday since I only the internet available to look for a place. If anyone in the Deland/Stetson area knows of a good place for a write-in (they have seating for a small group to stay for a couple of hours and don't mind a small group sticking around for a couple of hours, and preferably have an outlet or two for computers or power strips to be plugged into) that is open on Sunday afternoon please let me know as soon as possible so we can firm up details for a write-in. :)

Hi Elizabeth!
I live in Deland and would enjoy having a few peopel together for a write-in there.
A few places I had scoped out:
Deland Library - Sundays open 1-5. Lots of room, but no snacks or coffee.
Boston Coffeehouse - Sundays open 9-3. Free wifi, coffee, food and lots of tables.
Half Full Coffee House - Sundays 8am-2pm Free wifi, coffee, food
Stetson University Library - 11am - Midnight - (I'm an alum so I have access) Lots of tables, plug-ins and reference books. There is an Einstein's Bagel on campus with free WiFi as well and food - open from 9am-6pm
On Sundays I usually get to start writing around 2 or 3, but I could see about changing my scedule around since in Deland nothing is open late on Sundays! It's always been frustrating.
Let me know if you are still interested in getting together - I recommend Boston Coffeehouse and the first choice and then Half Full as the second.

Hey everyone,
I know this is last minute since the write in is supposed to start right about now, but this is the first time I've had internet access all weekend. I'm really sorry but I feel too sick to attend the Deland write-in today, but I hope anyone who goes has a great time! If my schedule allows I will try to host another write-in up there that I am not too sick to attend.
