Hey, everyone! We just finished our first 15-minute word war in the chat room! I would really appreciate it if everyone who was in the chat tonight could post their closing word counts to this thread, before they head out (or before they write more later on November 1). My second was 710
for a total of 1469 in the first 40 minutes of Nano a very good start I think.

After two word wars, I wrote almost 650 words.
Despite the propaganda, quantity is NOT what matters. The social engineers created NaNoWriMo as a "book factory" to create a lot of fictional material that distracts us from the more relevant real issues. And these regional competitions are a way to make us see each-other as separate tribes rather than one humanity, aka "divide and conquer".

I joined late in the chat and did only one word war. I think I got 377.
My total opening word count before this morning is 1386.
I think I am still fuzzy-headed!
