Team Bitter, Bitter Irony this is your thread and your thread only. This is where you post your wordcounts, your inspirations, and other things to spur you on.
Other teams are welcome to read other team threads but if other teams are caught posting in another teams thread there will be a deduction of 1000 words on that persons total or the team average. Depends how we feel :)

Come on, bitter bitter ironers. How can we be languishing at the bottom of the post competition already? The other teams have at least one...
It appears I have failed in my attempts to poach competitors from other teams as well. Bitter, bitter irony.
How are the word counts going, by the way?

as an interesting challenge to help spur my team mates on: pick a song from your playlist, play it, and write as many words as you can while it plays. Then post the track title, artist and track length along with your word count for the song here. I'll do some tomorrow when I'm not at work and actually have a playlist to choose from

Hi guys. I'm currently on 2395 words and so far it's coming easier than I thought it would considering I didn't get round to much planning before starting. Hopefully that will continue. I'm relying rather heavily on the infamous plot bunnies - so far they haven't let me down and, thankfully, are co-operating with each other ie. not feeding me contradictory story lines.
How are you all going?

I must confess I'm at zero words... its like my creativity has turned viscous in my head and refuses to be forced out.

Managed a paltry 262 words today. Grand total of 5,365.
But, in more positive news, I passed my roller derby skills test, the dentist says I don't need any more fillings and my awful sister left the country on a one-way ticket. Yay for today.
Chooky and I will be in Ballarat for the next week and probably won't be able to upload our totals. Rest assured, though, my fellow ironers, I will be typing like a non-blue badger. Not a lot else you can do in the evenings when you're staying with your parents and they don't have the internet.
Expect a huge jump in my word count on 9th November. That will make you all happy.

Hey fellow ironers (sounds like an ad for a laundry product :D )
I've managed to hit the 4,000 word mark. But expect it to be downhill from here, at least until the weekend. Work calls :-(
But I'm pumped - it's *so far* coming easier than expected!

It's amazing how life twists and turns. I thought today was going to be a very crappy day. My work which I thought would be finished by about 11.00 still wasn't by 1pm - I've had to leave some of it over until tomorrow. And then some of my other plans for today got changed and I ended up being out and having no access to a computer for most of the day. Sounds like a recipe for disaster to a NaNOwriMer. After having been ahead of schedule the first 2 days, I thought my word count was about to go down the gurgler.
But the age of miracles is not yet over. By 11.50pm I had the wonderful experince of looking down at my word count to find that I had indeed reached and passed my target for today AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello!
So I finally got in a team after hurriedly finishing off my major design so I could begin writing! Only up to 3000 so far, but have only spent a couple of hours on it, hoping to spur on once I finish my last essay for uni and have 24/7 to devote my time to NaNo and my fellow ironers!
My friend got into Omega Phoenix Rainbow...so we have to make sure we beat them!

But now I'm writing and as one of my friend's is in this team, I'm kinda unofficially joining too. Shh... don't tell anyone.
I'm up to 2289 words. =)
