I couldn't attend the party yesterday as I work Saturdays and tend to be knackered by the end. Soooo, anyone going to the CB2 write-in today? I'm driving up from Royston so I just want to make sure I'm not the only one there XD |

Umm, I think I got the wrong place. Went to what I thought was CB2 (just opposite the Grafton Center) and couldn't see anyone there that had laptops or notebooks or anything and I am far too introverted to shout anything like "Hey, any NaNoWriMo people here?". Don't have an iPhone to check the website with, so I gave up, went to Starbucks, and then came home.

Oh no!!
Sounds like you got the right place, but we're upstairs. Upstairs is much less restauranty and has loads of electrical sockets so we always sit up here.
Oh what a shame, I hope this won't put you off. If you want to come to another one, let me know and I'll PM you my mobile number, that way you can phone/text me and I'll come down and meet you if you can't find us.

I checked upstairs, the only big group I could see were a group sitting at a table, again, no laptops or the like >.<
Hasn't put me off! Not sure when I'll get to the next one but I might do the mobile thing next time, I'm far too shy to approach people and go "are you NaNoing?" XD

Ah, there is a mezzanine just around the corner, a mirror-image of the one downstairs, and we're in that bit. The table's are officially booked, so if you ask at the counter they can tell you where we are, but I'll send you my mobile number anyway just in case. :-)
