I'll be slightly conservative:
2,300

It did take longer than usual. Just check the time stamp.

Well, since you asked: 5489. And that was after a couple of hours of writing at the kick off event.

I wrote 2500 words today; my daily goal is 2k, so I would consider today a win. The write-in helped a ton.

You can see where I am to the left. ;)

I'm pretty happy with my word count, as I slept VERY poorly last night and have been wandering around half asleep all day. I'm worried when I read what I wrote, it will all be "All work and no play makes Smashinator a dull boy."

2,111. For once, I actually got a lot done at a write-in, considering I hadn't written anything before it! And I think I finally got to the point that I feel like writing now. Let's see if my story doesn't disappoint.

Only 47,889 to go!

At 3,823 - over today's word count. And all sneak-writing at work! My story is beginning to get boring, though... First week is the hardest for me.

I'm now at 5,449 and happy to be ahead of the minimum. I think I normally writer at a faster pace than the Nano challenges us to do anyway so I'm not worried. I just hope my story turns out to be engaging!

I need to qualify this,
1. Yesterday was the Sabbath and my son's b-day party so I did no writing on day one.
2. I started a story that I have been looking as as my Wrimo story for the last few weeks, got 600+ words in and it died. So i started a new story and got to my present word count , 1859, and that was during nap time. Plus I can still add more tonight once my kiddo goes nigh-night. Not too shabby-ish if I do say so myself.

I have finally caught up with the daily required word count at 36,700! YES! It took two weeks, but I've done it! Woohoo!
