Well, that was fun! I hope it keeps up flowing out like that...in a nice way!
Hehe. I hope you all had a good start and we can all stay focused. Coffee sales will be way up this month in NL I suspect.

I'm more of a tea person myself, but I agree with what you're saying. ;)

Let's all keep our fingers crossed that none of us run into any writers block.

It starts getting difficult around 20-30k words. XD Least as far as I found last year.
But, I'm chugging away! Wanna get 10k for tomorrow, at least.

I'm at about 4400 right now. I don't know how much more I'll get done today, but I really want to get to seven thousand, and then write another three tomorrow to get me to ten for a comfortable lead.

I didn't find any particular section difficult last year. I chalk it up to having everything already planned out. For the most part anyway.

I feel like I'm behind with just a little over two and most of you are heading for five and over.

I've got about 2400 at the moment, thinkin' it'd be nice to hit around 3000 before I hit the sack. I find that building up a nice lead is nice, though I didn't get to do that last year (fell ill, I'm afraid) and I still managed to win it, so I can say from experience that it's certainly not necessary to build up a buffer early in the game.

I'm behind too. I expect to have only about 4000 by the end of today. Maybe less. Sick kids in the house means limited time to write.

Don't worry, we can always stay up for three or for days at the end. :D

I started off with 15,000. Been working on this one for awhile. Using nanowrimo as motivation to write more. =)

Ahhhhhhhhh!

So I had the busiest weekend following the busiest week ever, so I'm only now starting NaNo. FML. But great to see those bars start to go up!

Danielle, the whole point of NaNo is to write more stuff, so that 15000 shouldn't count if you wrote it before November. If you add on 50k to another story, that counts. Anyway, it's just a personal goal, so do what you wish, but as mod, I'm obliged to say that, haha.

Anyway, great work everyone!

I think starting a Novel is always the hardest part for me, but when I get into the groove and run around with the characters, ?I have more fun and words start flowing like a Imagination waterfall. Planning is always good, and spontaneous great ideas are even better. Hopefully my word-count will get higher, considering my very busy sced..

*plays the Mario level win music*

Wee! This was my first NaNo, I had no idea what to expect going into it, which is why I wrote retardedly fast the first part. So excited! Seeing "winner" on my widget makes me happier than it has any right to lol
