I'm pretty new to the area, having relocated from Nottingham. I don't have the internet at the moment, so am using my cousin's connection.

But I was wondering whether there's any spots in Leeds City Center or even Bradford that offers a free wifi connection?

Pretty much any of the coffee chains ought to have wifi available - so your Starbuckses, Costas, Cafe Neros, etc. Of course, you tend to have to buy something to drink while you're there, but the wifi itself is usually free.

One of the McDonalds on Briggate has free wi-fi, if that's any help. You need a password, I think (not been in,just searched the web). Also, it used to be possible to get Leeds Met's wi-fi signal if you were sat in Leeds Central Library, but it was pretty weak when I managed to get it.

All McDonalds have free wifi, however you have to register with them (which will probably be fed to the marketting team, but hey you don't have to fork out the readies).

Most of the cafés do, as Magenta noted, Café Latina where we hold the meets his free wifi. Also there was free wifi in the West Yorkshire Playhouse (the connection is called CyberPublic).

I believe the library his free wifi, and someone told me the new museum does too.

There's plenty of places :)
