Hi everyone,
Joined the MK region cause there's no Bedford - we have an MK postcode so I guess this is the closest I'll get.
Just wondered if there were any other Bedfordians doing this?

Sorry, Northampton here but Taulphinn's location says Bedfordshire so you may be in luck. Well done on the 3K word count already!

Hi, yeah I'm in Bedford and just joined Milton Keynes as there was no Bedford.
----------Maybe you and I are it, you know, the only people in Bedford with the ridiculously foolish idea that we can write a novel in a month.
I can put on a stone in a month so this must be possible.

m and everyone else.~
I'm in Beds. too - well on the border, anyway. Im really Welsh though, so in the Wales group too. My main problem at the moment is procrastination, not helped by the miserable weather!

I live in Bedfordshire, reasonably close to Bedford. Me and a couple of my friends are doing this but we'll probably never be able to meet up with other people as we're all 17 and unable to drive :(

It sounds like there are quite a few people coming from the same areas so maybe we could car share (for the price of a cuppa?)

I'm based in Dunstable, joined MK for similar reasons and have friends there who are doing NaNo.

Wales <3 I've started NaNo in Wales, visiting the girlfriend who lives in Pembrokeshire but back to Bedfordshire on 7th, lost some writing time going places with her but we're having a cafe tour tomorrow so I can recover my word count.

I too am close to Bedford, so it seems like there's a bunch of us. No idea how you go about getting your own 'place', though. I suppose we'll have sponge off Milton Keynes for the meantime.

I live in Northampton and have been 'sponging' off MK for a year and it's really not that painful :)

It's nice to know there are so many participating in this area. I doubt if I'll be able to attend any meet-ups as I don't drive and have a lot of other commitments, but I'll be with you all in spirit, as well as spiritually hopping over the border to Wales !

Right in Bedford...
I'm one of the 'Shit...better start...' people and trying to bash out about 5000 words in a night just to catch up.
Oh uni, you've taught me so well!
