We had 10 writers, one friend of a writer, and one ML at the kick off meeting at John Harvard’s today. All of my 10 writer’s toolkits were given out. Each kit had a few NaNoWriMo stickers, some marbles (because if you are writing 50K words in a month you probably lost a few), two corks (one to uncork your imagination and the other to cork securely your inner editor), one Long Island rubber duck complete with reindeer antler top to remind you that November is only 30 days and it’s only 55 days until Christmas. There was lots of conversation all around. I think everyone had a good time!
Naturally we took a group photo!

I recognize people!
Also apologies for not getting there, realized about a few hours into the day that I had two midterm assignments due Monday that I...completely forgot about. And two lesson plans to write.
I'm glad it was so successful!
