Anybody else write around the downtown area? I'm an equal grounds fan myself, how about you all?

I write at home for the most part, but I'm open to going different places.. though downtown's traffic is a nightmare.. I'm pretty sure that I'd need a ride to get there :P Jitters and just about anywhere else would work nicely too :D

I write at home in "my" room, usually with one of three cats on my lap and my dog farting under my desk, while Left 4 Dead sounds emanate from the parlour as das Hubby plays video games.
I've never really tried writing somewhere else, especially a public place, because I feel like I'm taking up space that other customers might need. I'm willing to give it a try, though, to see if it makes me feel inspired to write. It might just make me more paranoid if people are always trying to read over my shoulder, though, heh.

I have a rather nice office in my home, that my long-suffering (i.e. patient) wife remodeled for me a little over a year ago. This is where I do most of my writing, after everyone else has gone to bed.
I'd be open to coming to a write in, as long is it's not going to conflict with other stuff. Where's the Jitters in Henrietta?

The table, in my brand-spankin new kitchen!
----------The breakroom at Webster Plastics in Fairport!
Occasionally, the food court at Marketplace Mall! Bugger Starbucks, their tables suck and the other customers glare in an unpleasant manner.
Also, bed. Preferably with my boyfriend for warmth and plotting, but this is a rare occurrence as he is far away in Brighton. :P

I write at home, mostly because I'm sans-laptop. (I am looking at a Netbook for next year, not in the budget with moving into our first house this summer). If I had something more mobile I'd like to write various places. Right now my desktop is in the same room as the husband's computer, and various boxes we have to unpack yet.

Definitely at home, either in my home office or my family room with my dogs curled up beside me on the sofa. I'm afraid I'll get too distracted if I write elsewhere. I like to people-watch.

So far, I've done all my writing at work. Bad, I know! It's a small, free-flowing office with lots of couches. I feel comfortable there and can get writing done undisturbed. I usually only work during breaks or for short times to clear my head. I listen to one of my many pandora stations and just let the inspiration run wild!

I write at my dining room table (my sudo desk) after everyone in the house is asleep. I'm a midnight owl...

So far this nanowrimo, only in my room and only in the middle of the night. But this summer I did write a lot in a treehouse in Regent's Park (London) :D
Is there anyone in central Rochester who wants to hang out? I'm feeling REALLY isolated living with my parents here compared to when I was having wacky adventures in Europe, but I don't have a driver's license or anything, so going to the get-togethers in the suburbs is a bit out of the question here...

I do my writing at my desk in my office, usually later in the evenings (~11pm) or during my days off. I'm very sporadic; a few paragraphs here, a few there. It's hard for me to sit down and just churn out words, but I like how my novel is coming along thus far.
My office is not really an OFFICE, per se -- it's the room at the back of our apartment for desks and everything else we can't find a place for.
