What's in your NaNoWriMo survival kit this year?

Mine contains....
My manuscript book and trusty waterman, ink refills.
A gold pen for noting word counts (I'm handwriting btw and it ROCKS!). A purple pen for writing notes as I go along.
I Ching balls for massaging aching hand
A calculator for calculating said word count
An Excel spreadsheet because I like to see said word count in all its colourful 3D graphy goodness
Notebooks each for character, regional, and cultural notes
The map of my world so I know where everyone is, or will be.
Tarot cards for giving me random plot direction that sometimes works
"No Plot? No Problem!" by Chris Baty because he tells me what I should be feeling
Some early music and celtic harp music for setting the mood.
Tea. Lots and Lots of tea. And water. Hydrate your brain, people!
The Nano web page and chat room for procrastinating
Twitter for exchanging trash talk with Uxintro during our month long word war.

What about you?

My favourite drink is tea. I splurged on a jar of honey to kick start the brain a bit this month. And water, of course. We'd all die without it. But, as an added survival factor I've added two cases of red wine to my kit for my first wrimo. It's an experiment to see what really is lurking in the depths.

I don't usually drink and type. It can be a deadly combination. But, there is always the delete button to be used in December.

As well as:
My rough outline of the plot - very rough - but it's funner.
No plot? No problem is on my shelf in front of me and has been read, but I think I can do this all by myself now.
The novels I've read as research with all their margin notes and highlights.
Internet research printouts.
Notebook with very brief notes on chapters and days and word tally columns that I tick with a big red felt pen as I finish each day.
My little dog, Jesse, Gorgeous for short, who has nothing but praise and adoration for anything I do, no matter how bad it is.

( Is there a brag board anywhere here? Whoo hooo. I got a letter last week telling me that I won an award in the Todhunter Literary Award short story competition ... and I wasn't even using my survival kit. )

My big squashy over-the-ear headphones and my iPod
My tin egg timer
A bottle of water
My GF writing beside me on the sofa

Oh, and "No Plot, No Problem", open to the page with the button for banishing your inner editor, in case it comes creeping back. Which it does tend to do in the first week.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! That's Great! Best part is that you can now officially go around and call yourself an award winning writer. Well Done. :D

Prominently displayed acceptance letters and writing diplomas (again for the ego boosts)
Vast quantities of Pepsi Max because I can't find caf-pow
One dog to look up on his master with awe and wonder (ego again) and to remind daddy that going outside occasionally has its benefits (no seriously)
microwave for frozen meals (can't waste time cooking real food), phone (very handy cooking utensil)
Friends, family, workmates to... I'm sure they're there for something more than eating into valuable writing time and telling me I need to sleep

For most writing:
- My laptop. Toshiba M750e with Windows Vista Office, that my school requires I have. It's got a touch screen, which I can use the pen or my fingers as mice, as well as the touch pad. It makes me feel like a spy, which is very good for my story.
- My laptop charger. It has an okay batter life, but I tend to be on it for hours so I need to be able to charge it regularly.
- A tab of IE with Write or Die opened. Great when I want to churn out crap in as little time as possible.
- My story opened with about 100 words of planning/character details at the bottom. So I can stay organised.

For school:
- A page torn out of the centre of an exercice book, so it's two A4 pages. Folded to fit into my pocked easily. Four pages of writeable goodness. I'm on my second sheet now (I write extremely small, which is why I'm typing.)
- A pen. For writing. Obviously.

For my brain and body and sanity:
- Water. Hydration ;D
- Coffee. I have latte sachets, because they're sugary goodness and not caffeinated to a crazy extent, which wouldn't be good for me.
- Milo. For when I need to write but I've got school the next day so I can't drink coffee late at night.
- Tim Tams. For rewards and Tim Tam Slams. Look up that goodness, it is AMAZING.
- Two stress balls - one for each hand. One is a thumbs-up that I got from La Porchetta. The other is an extremely inaccurate model of the world, with "Weltsprache Deutsch" (the world speaks German) written on it. Won that one in German.
- My cat, Sunny. He's my huggable stress reliever.
- Twitter. For tweeting word counts and procrastinating.

That's about it. I think.
