Here's a spot for us braggers to brag about our word counts! As of the 1st, I'm at 3,163. I'm pretty sure that's the best I've ever done on the first day. It guess it helps that I have multiple MC's. Let's see how we do throughout the month! |

On the first, I sat down at my computer and opened Word and said, "What in the %@^* have I gotten myself into?" After about an hour of that, things started moving and it's going great for my first NaNo. I've got over 7,000 words so far and I am tickled about it.

I made 10k in words on 11-6-09. that was nice.
And I've cleared 13,500 today.

Just hauled myself over the 15K chin bar. Helps that my characters, like their creator, won't shut up.
Did anyone else notice that our affiliate count keeps creeping up? I swear it was at 361 just a couple of days ago.

I'm having some issues getting any steam going today... but I will make the 15k mark. I'm a little afraid of that Ewok ya know.
But I will make 15k today. OR ELSE. And I don't know what the or else is yet, but I do know I plan on dragging my but over 1667 today for my total word count for the day and so I should actually make 15,600 or so. I dunno.
we shall see after my update from right before I go to bed in about 2 & 1/2 hours.

My goal for the writing tonight was 20k, but I've hit a bit of a stump, so I decided with about 2,969 words written today I've done pretty well.
I'm pleased with my 19,710 words. Maybe I'll hit 25k at the end of friday, we shall see, but I sure hope so. ^.^

There are some people who write over 200K every year. I think they work on more than one novel. I don't know if they type super-fast or if they can just consistently keep the words flowing, but either way I'm jealous.
Oh, and I'm also totally going to hit 20K tonight. Whee!
