Well, it's official. The ML (MermaidSirena) for St Augustine has picked up the gauntlet and accepted our challenge to a regional word war. Let the games begin!!

How does this work? Basically, we have challenged the other region that we will have a higher average word count per person that they will by the end of the month. That means we're counting on YOU to write, write, write and keep the teams average up so we can take 'em down.

Feel free to have fun with this --goading and cheering is encouraged, so long as we keep it all lighthearted fun.

So, HERE ( http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/node/214 ) is the link to the St Augustine region. I encourage you all to post over there and have fun with our new war-mates.

REMEMBER Sherrilyn Kenyon's words to us: "Never retreat, never surrender!" It's time to write, write, write and show 'em what NaNoInTheBoro is really about.

St Augustine is going DOWN!

;)

St. Augustine is going down, huh? Not if I have any say in the matter (and consequently, as a Nanoist from St. Augustine with the power to up the ante in words written, I do.) ^_^

The gauntlet has been thrown, the challenge is accepted and the troops have begun marching determinedly forward to meet the opposition. Gather your best pens, oh deserved foes and do your best to defeat our powerful prose.

We're ready for you.

Oh, ho!

St Augustine thinks that old fort's gonna protect 'em, but they don't know that Middle TN's the home of ole' Hickory, Stonewall Jackson himself.

They're toast.

mwahahahahaha

Considering most paintings of St. Augustine have him holding pen to a book (aka writing) I feel we have God's Will on our side.

St. Augustine will triumph even if we have fewer contestants!

Both teams are at write ins at the same moment!

Wonder if we can beat you during this time??? We are only 100 words per writer short!
