I see there are some previous inquiries going back several years regarding the 11-buddies limit . I'm doing Nano with a creative writing class and would like to be able to track all my students' progress by looking at my home page (rather than just 11 of them). Now I have to go through the User pages and click on each individual user. Any chance this will be addressed finally? |

Well, we certainly want to address it. I'm not sure when it will be taken care of though.
You might be able to do something with the wordcount API to work around this, but I'm not certain. Once the widgets are working they might help, too.

Update:
I just saw this in another buddy list thread.
I'm hoping we'll have something later this week to display more people on the buddy list.
Note the use of the word "hoping". This is not a guarantee.

More buddies showing in the listing would be nice but what I'd really like to do is arrange the order they show up. Eleven would be plenty if I could put the five or so I really want to watch in there first.

I came here looking to see if anyone was posting about this, and I thought the same thing. Either that or put them up randomly each time so I might be able to see all of them at some point.
Actually no, scratch that. I want to see all of them. And I want a pony :-)
