Day two, and I am a first timer this year. This place is awesome! This may be a silly newb question, bear with me, but why don't we have a liaison? We have a region....is being a liaison hard? Let's have a write-in! I will go and write-in with peoples....any ideas on places? We could do it every Sunday or something for a few hours....thoughts? Ideas?
Good luck today! Write write write!

I'm a follower not a leader, so when they post days and times for stuff (I'll most likely be there), but not interested in the ML thing.

Seems like no one is really interested in being an ML... I've taken charge of about 8 NOLA WriMos that i'm friends with, but am looking for a laptop friendly venue that can accomodate more people. When I find one, I will post our meeting time here on the forums.

I just found a girlfriend of mine who is on NaNoWriMo and is writing at CC's coffee tomorrow night, about 7-10pm. Address: 701 Metairie Rd, 70005. I have a lab tomorrow night, but maybe others can make it? I'll try to make the end bit. Good luck with your count today! :-) -Brittany

And the CCs writer would be me. It isn't a huge store, but they are laptop friendly. I have an extra power strip, should anyone need to borrow it. I am aiming to get there for about 6pm, so I can get some school work done as well. Hope to see others there!
Melanie
ps- if you want to find me, ask pretty much anyone at the counter - most of them know me :)

CC's on Metairie sounds good. I'll try and roll through about 7pm. Tonight was a trip to Rue de la Course (walking distance to the St. Charles one)...not bad, lot's of potential character's just begging to be written about. (wa-ha-ha)!

Hello All:
I'm writing from Washington, D.C., and this is my first time participating in National Novel Writing Month. I have a Masters in Writing Popular Fiction which was a two year program. As far as writing a novel in a month is scary. Any suggestions on how to get through this is welcomed.

I don't know what happen to everyone. But as it is crowded and cold (inside and out) I will only be here for about twenty more minutes. Sorry...

I'm at CCs on Metairie Rd (not the one on Vets!), and it's pretty quiet over here. I don't know if anyone else is going to be here, but I am definitely staying until 10. Feel free to come and join me!

A bunch of us will be getting together for an impromptu write-in at French Press at 3236 Williams Boulevard in Kenner on friday night at around 6 in hopes of getting ahead of our word counts. I personally intend on being there till around 11, or my eyes start bleeding from staring into the monitor. I'll be the one with the power strip (Just in case) and a T-shirt that says:
"English doesn't borrow from other languages... it follows them down dark alleys, beats them over the head, and rumages through their pockets for loose grammar"
Feel free to drop by!
