Good Morning Writers,
I thought I'd check in and wish you all a productive day. Stay confident and keep writing. Don’t worry about specifics, just get the words down!
Cheers!

Ah, I see this post is a few days old; still, it's just what I was looking for *g*
I'm at 7 thousand some words, and am securely over the abyss that is the middle. It's just one long whaaaaaaaaa! from here on out. I mean, I have things and I know about upticks and reversals and making scenes, but it all starts seeming so pointless and trite and like a big 'ol glop of unfun.
That said, DB, I know this is just the middle woes, and if I could just do the words I can slog through to the lovely end, so big hugs and thank you! This is exactly what I needed to hear.
For my words of encouragement, I think I will say that no matter how hard it seems, having your 1,700 words at the end of the day is the best feeling in the world. Just keep going, keep the faith that you really can do this, and you'll surprise yourself.

Yes, I'm just trying to keep my head up around the 1667 words a day until I get clear of this and next week's real world obligations. It's hard sometimes, going to bed down 300-600 words. Last night I was up 200+ and that feels real good. But I won't be able to get back to writing until this afternoon/evening.
I like what I'm writing though and don't yet quite know where it's going. I have enough characters and lifestyle props (job, school, original premise, family, estranged boyfriend, best friend/roommate who's getting ready to drop the bomb that she's moving out, etc.) to visit to get me well over the hump to where I can tie it all together into a theme.
Thanks for the good wishes, the same to you all! Keep going Kara!

Yay, Margo, good going :)
Today I have to figure out how the heck to communicate a huge distance instantaneously with no cell, computer, or smoke signals. However, Something Shall Occur, or these characters will be in a world of hurt (hahahah)
Good luck and joy today; come on, Words!
