Woot woot! AkroNaNos, you rock!

If you haven't seen the stats yet, AkroNaNos have written 75,367 words (2,431 per Wrimo with wordcount)!! And that's as of 1 p.m. on Monday November 2! I think we generated more words in one day than the today's issue of the Akron Beacon Journal.

Congratulations to all of you on a strong start. And if you're a little behind in word count - no worries. There's always time to pick up the pace. The main thing is to keep writing and not worry about how good the adjectives are or whether that bit of dialogue is really doing its job. If you find the evil perfectionist interrupting your writing session to tell you that you can't move on until you find the absolutely most perfect word for that sentence, send the evil perfectionist out for a long hike in the woods and write whatever you want, in your own words, your own voice. Just keep the story moving!
