Not that I'll be on the A&M campus today, but I was curious if anyone prefers to write on-campus, where their favorite spots might be, and if anyone would be interested in NaNo get-togethers or something...maybe grab some food somewhere after a week of classes or something and just sit around to relax, talk, and--obviously--write here and there. I would think that Thursdays and/or Fridays would be the best days, but weekends would work great too if people were motivated to get out of their dorms/apartments/houses/whatevers. Despite the MSC being closed (enter sad, sad face here), there are still plenty of places on-campus to just sit back and do whatever with friends for stuff like this.
Wow I ramble.

I spend a lot of time in Rudder now that the MSC has been closed, but I've never tried to write there. I think the success of that depends on whether I can find a plug (the battery on my laptop is abysmal). If I can find one though, I should be writing there for a good block of time almost daily. Maybe I'll make myself a little sign. =)

I never found Rudder too interesting...I only ever seem to go there for group meetings and the like. But I DO like the idea of having a little sign! XD I should make one and stick it up wherever I happen to be.

I'm imagining walking through campus and finding these little signs up by people all over the place now.
And it makes me want a sign.
But I don't write anywhere outside of my dorm.
So a sign would be useless.

I sat by the Evans library today as I worked on my NaNo with a sign that said, "Bother me if you NaNoWriMo". I saw many looks, but no one approached.
I'll probably do the same thing multiple times this week. If I'm not there, I'll be at the hills on Spence behind Langford writing or at the Commons Lobby.

I haven't written anywhere but my dorm yet, since my laptop is gigantic and has fail battery life. but when i need to really focus on studying something I usually go to the fourth floor of evans, and I find that to be a place where I can be rather productive. maybe i'll go there at some point to work on my brainstorming~ lol. (I totally think having little signs would be awesome.)

I've been writing off campus, mostly out of embarrassment if someone were to see what I was writing. But maybe I'll start writing in the WCL.

Kamikaze, I hadn't thought of the commons! Maybe I'll migrate there. I'll look for your little sign if I do!

Hello. I just arrived here on an externship, so I don't know where anything is. But if anyone wants to organize a write in and novel chat time or w/e later this week, I'd be keen.

Hmmm...I suspect I'll be disinclined to do any writing on campus, since I work there 40-50 hours a week as is, so it isn't a relaxing environment for me to write in. I am near the commons though, so ~waves~ to anyone who does write over there (and to folks by Evans as well!). Writing at Muldoon's, near campus, worked well, until it started getting busy after the churches let out. May do that again next Sunday morning.

I'm liking the NaNo sign idea. I, too, frequent the 4th floor of Evans. Perhaps I'll see one of you around! Don't get down to the Commons much as it is out of the way of this North-sider, but who knows?
Spread the word about the NaNo signs; I think it would be awesome to come across a fellow Wrimo that way. :)

I was studying on the 4th and 5th floors of Evans on Wednesday around 1 pm, and was totally scoping around for some NaNo signs. But I didn't see any. :(

If anyone's ever at evans in the evenings on the fourth floor, there's a chance I'll be there sometimes to work on mine (definitely on friday, btw). I'm a short brunette girl and i will have a sticky note on my netbook reading NANO? and i will likely have headphones on, lol. It'd be cool to meet some other nanoers!!~
