Has anyone reached their third chapter yet?

I've nearly finished my second chapter, but I had a prologue as well, so it may count as a third.

nope. I'm still on chapter one.
but I did a prologue, so... that might count as two.

yay!!!! i have just started chapter 4!!! i am doing it from two peoples view though, so they have to be quite short

Cool! i must say...You have a really big word-count for only having written a prologue and first chapter.

I started my third chapter last night...But I kinda hit a block as to what to write, so we'll see what happens!=)
BTW Autumn, I had an awesome time with you last you last night!!! And we definetly deserved those morning naps!!!! Kudos to us!=)

I haven't really planned out chapters... I think I just write a bunch and then make sure it has good closure to start another one. xD But I'm in the middle of the 2nd chapter, I guess.

Are you writing Multiple First or third person point of views? I'm just curious, because I wrote my previous book in that style (first person), and it was...interesting to say the least. But it worked.

I've written chapters 1-3 and chapter 7 so far (I have a VERY detailed outline so I can skip around based on what feels best at the moment)

I'm on chapter three but my chapters are pretty short, being about 1000 words each XD

'fraid not. I'm still chugging away on chapter 1. It's turned out to be much longer than I anticipated, but that's okay I suppose. A lot happens and I have quite a bit of world building to include, not to mention a legend to introduce. Hopefully I'll be done before I hit the 5000 mark, but then we'll just have to wait and see.

I have not really been tracking chapters right now. I am just writing and plan to break the story up into fitting chapters at a later point.

I don't write in chapters, or at least not until I finish. I did do a prologue though, and what I've written after that will probably be divided into two chapters. So three chapters, technically?

Erm, possibly? *scratches head* I've lot track of what chapter I'm on. I may be on chapter 2, 3 or 4 for all I know. I only know for certain I'm passed chapter 1.

I have my prologue, chapter one, and chapter two done. When I start writing tomorrow, I'll be starting chapter three :)

I am ending my third chapter right now. I do want to add two more scenes to chapter 2 and 1 more scene to chapter 1 but that will come later. I'm satisfied with this 3rd chapter, well once I finish it I will be.

I'm rolling pretty well this year. Yay!!

I'm starting chapter four right now. :) My chapters are a little short, but there are so many scene transitions that it would be impossible for them to be any longer.

I have, only because my chapter 2 was so short

i'm on chapter two but my chapters tend to be 30 pages long, so that's not bad. i'm on pg 34 right now. (at about 8500 words)

Yes, finished Chapter Three: actually I had an introduction and two chapters outlined, but those two chapters turned into two each, so I'm at the end of chapter five right now.

It's going very well, but this year I have ten times as much time to devote, and I haven't been writing as much as normal for the past eight or so months, so I'm "fresh" not worn out.

I don't think it terms of chapters but I am switching character perspectives, so if each change marks a new chapter, I'm working on chapter 4 right now and will be heading into chapter 5 probably tomorrow morning.
