Ok so I posted this in the main NaNo forums a few weeks back in the Artisan forum(http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/node/3275336) and I thought I'd post about it here too for just the fellow Dayton writers.
Over the summer, I made a "mock" book trailer for my novel. It's nothing spectacular, but I found that working on it really helped stimulate the creative juices.
Of course, now it may be difficult to work on a trailer as it would take precious time away from noveling, BUT in case you're looking for yet another form of procrastination that may help in writing your book and revising it later on, it's something to think about.
Here's the link to mine in case anyone's interested.

If you do happen to make one, feel free to post it here or in the thread in the artisan forum (linked above).

I love Book Trailers! They are a great way to get the juices flowing, as you said. I made one for my previous novel, Stream Pirate, awhile ago. Link: http://seesarawrite.blogspot.com/2008/12/stream-pirates.html
I used clips from movies, though, so it's more of a fan-vid than a book trailer. Still fun :)
