Southeast Iowa

I grew up in Fort Madison but am currently living just north of Waterloo.

I'm in Muscatine, but come down to Burlington as often as possible to Society of Great River Poets. There is a pre-meeting for prose this Saturday at 12:30 at BPL Probably in either meeting room A or B -- I plan to bring my laptop and use the time till 2 when poetry starts to work on my novel. There are a couple other wrimos in SGRP -- don't know if they'll be there too or not. It may be a one person write-in -- but if you can join me it'd be great!

Hi! I am a Burlington resident as well, and also in the Society of Great River Poets. This coming Saturday we will be at the Burlington Public Library at 12:30 for our regular prose group meeting. I plan on writing during this time, and it sounds like Pat will be there as well. We'd love to have anyone in SE Iowa who is able and willing to come and join us.

Burlington also here. I've heard that there's a contingent at SCC, but have seen no evidence of that on campus.

Try holding a rational conversation with someone while typing and having your MC screaming in your ear: "No no, stupid!! Don't you dare stick me in that situation!!! How dare you! You IDIOT!!!"
