I have no clue where all of you are going to be, but I am at a compy at the back.. like it'll be head to miss me. W00t! Nice turnout tonight. Everyone was new, so once again welcome to everyone that came out. We had seven writers including myself, and we had another writer pop in and say hi briefly. So thank-you Heidi, Andrew, Angelique, Meghan, Rebecca, and Julia for joining me there, and thanks for introducing yourself Mike! It was a pleasure to meet you all.
Over the course of the evening, we had two sprints. For those who haven't read the treasure chest thread, its a quick, 20 minute crunch where people record their word counts during the crunch. The person with the highest total gets an entry in the treasure chest draw. Julia won the first sprint with 841 words, and Angelique won the second with 1,491 words. Good job!
Being the first official write-in, we also recorded the total number of words we wrote over the course of the evening. Every write-in, someone wins a 2 GB thumb-drive, courtesy of The Source in the Southridge Mall. Tonight's winner was Heidi, who managed 3,545 words. Congratulations Heidi!
The total number of words written during the write-in comes up at 16,461 words. Awesome!
