Is anyone interested in a Soquel based write-in? I work over here M-F and have converted my boss into Nano this year. I'm thinking at about 7-9 at the Ugly Mug or any other Soquel/Aptos place that would be willing to accommodate us. Maybe folks not able to do the UCSC write-ins on Thursdays? Suggestions welcome.

I am all for Ugly Mug write-ins, as long as they're not Monday or Thursday nights. I won't be around this week or next week, though.

But if no one else wants to do it, a write-in of two is still pretty fun. :)

Give me a solid day of the week and time and I will happily post it on the calendar!

I'd love a Soquel write-in. We need a sure date and time for JungleMonkey to put on the calendar.

How does Wednesdays 6-8 pm work?

C'mon! South County represent! ;p

That would work for me. I'd also love to do afternoons, which I understand doesn't work for everyone because of work.

Can someone remind me where the calendar is again? I got the email awhile back, but any new updates on writeins are lost on me.

I can do Mondays between 2 and 5:30. Somehow I doubt that's going to work for a lot of other people, though. And I'd rather not, because that would result in another 13-hour day.

In the right of the header for the Santa Cruz forum, for a start.

I'll put it on the calendar and if people show up, they show up. If they don't you can feel smug about how exclusive your little group is. And by "your little group," I mean "you." ;-)

Course, next week even I won't be there, because I'll be kickin' it with the Boston Wrimos. But week after I'll for sure have a write-in all on my lonesome. My wordcount will SKYROCKET.

Actually Monday afternoons are good for me. ANyone up for night-owl write-ins at any of the 24 hour joints, including the Ferrill's Donut shops?

Afternoons are good for me, almost any day of the week.

Anyone actually coming to this evening's Soquel extravaganza at the Ugly Mug. I'm there and in an orange shirt. If no one shows by 7 pm I'll probably go.
