I'm looking for a group of people interested in getting together on Thursday nights at Denny's in Janesville. If you are interested let me know. I'll be there anyway.

I guess I should put in more info. I'm there every Thursday from 7ish until about 10. I would love to have a critique group or something there. a bounce board group. Bring your chapters, bring your laptops, bring your imagination.

Wow are there really only two of us? Are you into Fantasy novels? i would love to have someone around me to swap chapters with and help sharpen the edges of each other's books.

I will be at Denny's this Thursday between 7/7:30 unless I'm sick, in which case I'll let you know. Anyway my group is usually the obnoxious group in the back corner. They put us there for a reason. lol

I live about halfway between Madison and Janesville. I'm actually just closer to Madison, but it may as well be the same distance. I'd love to go, but since I've failed to make it to a single get together yet, I'm not going to hold my breath... Somehow, I think the Nano gods hate me.

Just keep churning out the words, and we'll find a write in eventually where you can join us for some camaraderie. Let the characters play and keep the word count climbing, that's the key!

Oh no, that's not the problem. My story is clipping along nicely. In fact, I created a new character today that introduced a nice element to my plot and gave me a pretty good theme for the overall story. I'd just like to get to know some of my fellow Madison area Nano writers, that's all.

I'm going to see what I can do about stopping by. I'd love to bounce ideas, and I'd be happy to read chapters, etc. I thought I saw another Janesville person in the roll call list. I wonder if any Janesville area folks are hanging out in the "other Wisconsin" forum too.

I'm in Janesville. Haven't been feeling awfully well, have had the flu. Certainly didn't want to be around people until I was 100%, which is why Ive been steering clear of meet ups.

On the bright side, I haven't been able to do a whole lot but write, so I'm managing to keep up the pace. I haven't pulled ahead yet, but thats the goal this week,

Keeping the pace is just fine! I have a killer month with other life things, so I don't anticipate I'll keep up all throughout, but I keep holding on to the motto that whatever I have at the end of the month is more than I had at the beginning. I hope you feel better soon, noretreat.

I am new to the Janesville area, and would love to be there.

I have to work Thursday night, though. :(

Maybe next week, if I ever actually get that schedule. I'm juggling two jobs right now, so I never really know what I'm doing three days in advance. Make trying to plan things rather difficult. *mutter*

At this point I am planning to be there tomorrow, and if you can't make it this week, I will be there next week on Thursday as well. I would love to see you there! It's sort of a Thursday night tradition among my friends. But we are always open to more!

I will definately be there! Short hair, purple and white sweater. We are usually in the back corner so come on back and just join us. The crowd is open to people!

I wish I could have made it tonight. We can definitely try again next week, or maybe we can find a write in time as well.

Is anyone available on Friday for some writing/commiserating? I have some kid free/non working hours and thought I'd see if anyone was up for a day time meet up.

Totally wish I could, but, as my word count seems to testify, work is eating my November. :(

I wish I could, but my WC is so far behind where I want it to be right now. I have a long weekend and need to utilize it. I'm not even 1/3 done with the book yet and I'm thinking this one might be a little too long.... But I'll work with it during the edit.
