Yes. WendyOliver in BV, and at least two others - Ms. Cosmo and ahelaine both responded to the Aspen question.

I'll add you to my buddy list.

Thanks Wendy, I was curious to know someone else in the area. Last nights dinner was at the Eddyline. My first time there. Nice.

Yes Cheryl, up in Pinon HIlls. Did you see the moon over the mountains at 6:30 this morning? Beautiful. I'm not usually up until 7:30 or 8:00 am but NaNo seems to be getting under my skin. Left my two main characters on the brink of their first meeting last night. Too tired to go on, too fired up to sleep. I've got it bad. But I'm not productive enough. I can't turn off the "editor."

I had almost given up on finding NaNo's close by. Hope you don't mind me putting you on my buddy list.. Just one cat? We've got four--don't ask.

Actually, I was surprised to find I had buddies. Thank you Wendy and adam; hope you don't mind me adding you to mine. I'm still a little green when it comes to the forums, so please bare with me while I stumble around.

I hope to drive down to Alamosa Friday night. The group sounds young but little_one has assured me I'm welcome. Since I don't have a lap top, my write-in tools will have to be yellow pad and pencil--preferably without an eraser. This, of course, if no more snow blows in. The Jeep and I get around but I've experienced enough winter driving thrills to last me.

Back to work--ah--fun. Ms. Cosmo

Surprising amount of Salida'ers! Certainly just like Ms. Cosmo any of you that want to make the trek down here are absolutely welcome (and if you're too tired to head back that night I don't mind if you pull up a blanket and a pillow for the night ^_-).

Fumble is a good word for what I am doing, don't know anything about forums either. took me this long to get back here, last night the website or server wouldn't let me do anything. I do have two indoor cats and feed numerous feral cats. cat lady would be a better user name, but it was done quickly so I wouldn't love my nerve.
I love early mornings and think its my best time. I like to watch the moonset and I bet you have a great view. Since travel seems to be looming on my horizon, I am looking at a laptop. the price is pretty reasonable now, so maybe its time.
best of luck to you.
