It really does pay to have your outline before hand. This story is just whizzing by...I'll probably be crying in my coffee around 30,000 because it's falling apart, but we'll see when we get there.

Good luck (NOLA - NANO's)...even a few minutes two or three times a day can really make a difference.
And..."Go Saint's!!!"

Good God. I'm floating just under 4k, and I AM working with an outline. You're my idol.

Ok...but like it was once said, "Here's the rest of the story..."

I'm currently unemployed. So I have my days to write. I should probably be doing even more than 5,000 a day, but that seems to be my average now. I should also be filling in applications and resumes (instead) of writing, but I really want to finish this year, so what the heck I'm pushing forward to get it done as soon as possible.

@ Bree:

It's not impossible, I promise. Crazy - but not impossible. You're doing great, keep it up! Just think - worst case scenario, you'll still have more words than you would've had before.

Good luck!

Just remember some days are going to be better than others. Just keep writing. Don't let the little gray cloud of doubt stop you...and if all else fails don't forget your flying ninja's and white elephants...they are good for at least a good 2,000 words and when everything is said and done. You can go back and chop them back out. (Hi-ya!)

Well I am super stoked that I just crossed the 10k thresh hole tonight. I am going to sleep with 10,401 words down as of now. Man does that feel good huh!
