Been reading the postings about NaNoWriMos meeting up to write or whatever.
The biggest concern is that many of us live in areas far from each other. If we don't live in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, or close by one of those two cities, it's difficult for those us in Altus, Ada, Lawton, Elk City, et cetera to find like-minded folk.
I noticed someone committed she lived in the middle of nowhere.
For always, I've always used the term "middle of Everywhere"--because from Altus, you can everywhere else in the world.
Good writing you all.
No excuses.
Take care,
Larry Mike Garmon

I understand what you mean. I'm about 2 hours from all the major cities for NaNo. Got lucky and there are about 4-5 people in the town next to mine who are WriMo's :). I think I've only been to Altus once or twice in my life but I know its a good distance from Lone Grove.
Edit: Wanted to add that your novel sounds like it would be a very good read. Hope to see you among the winner list :).

There are nine of us in Duncan--eight young writers and one adult (me). We are hoping to have a write-in at
Hastings very soon.
