Our next meeting will take place Saturday, November 7, from 2 to 4, at the Tippecanoe County Public Library in Meeting Room A (through the doors, near the bathrooms and the drinking fountains).

This will be a writing event. Bring a laptop, a notebook and a pen or a sheet of butcher paper and some crayons--whatever method you're using to work on your novel this year. Don't forget your noveling music and whatever drinks/snacks make you feel most writerly. I'll be bringing the newly-restocked (thank you, post-Halloween candy sales!) Blue Pumpkin Of Sugary Doom.

There will be two prizes awarded, one for winning the word war and one for the most words written during the write-in. You can only win one prize at write-ins during NaNo; if you've already won, congrats! Now give someone else a chance. ;-)

Who's going to be there? (Besides me.)

Any questions, let me know and I'll respond within 24 hours.

Yay! Someone else! =)

(god only knows what might happen if it's just me and the Blue Pumpkin Of Sugary Doom. . .)

Thanks a lot to everyone who showed up. The next meeting will be at the Starbucks on Wabash Landing on 11/15. It will be a non-writing event with a prize for highest word count so far (more details to come, don't have time to do a full post right now).
