We have discussed changing meeting places and even tried a few...
But Books A Million is still the most welcoming venue that we've found. I'm casting my vote for if it's not broke, don't fix it, so BAM is where I'll be tomorrow night.
For those of you near Grovetown or Fort Gordon, I can give rides (hooray for the minivan) but I have to try to be home by 8:30 since my husband is switching to the night shift.

I should be there about 5:30 pm (1730 for us military types). Books A Million is off of Washington road, in the parking lot with the Carraba's and the Hooters.

So I guess this means I won't be attending any meetings. *shrugs*
Also, it was more or less the fact it was a very busy Sunday morning at IHOP, not that we were there too long.

Is it because we chose BaM for this Tuesday? Can you only come to a meeting if it is at the Evans IHOP? Is there another location that's good with you? I probably missed what your difficulties are. Is it you need a ride to the other places? Personally I like Earth Fare (it's easy to get to and I can shop) but I know that I am in a minority.
If we don't know what the problem is, it is difficult to help and we'd of course like you to come. The meetings are great fun and no one wants you to miss out.

It's a problem of distance. Neither me nor Deo can come to BAM, it's too far and a waste of gas to be on the road an hour. @_@
Earth Fare is fine for Deo, I don't know if my mom knows where that is. Deo says IHOP is much better at nights (I probably couldn't come until 7 PM onward in any case). There's also a Panera at Mullin's Crossing (Evans Target). It has free seating and wifi, AND power outlets! It's technically an internet cafe! There's also a Starbucks next door if you want their coffee or something or another...

Getting a ride would be wonderful if you didn't mind. It's probably a bit too late for today, since I won't be able to speak to my mother about it until she gets home from work around 6 PM. I didn't plan on attending the Tuesday meeting (which I assumed was at IHOP) until 7 PM so that my mother could drive me there and Anna (Deo) would drive me home (she's coming from dance).
However, it is an idea to possibly catch a ride for Sunday mornings. If those are at BAM and you'd pick us up and drop us back home, me and Anna could probbly both attend. It's an idea, but details would need to be worked out. x_x
As a reference point, my address is 903 Windmill Parkway, Evans, GA 30809.

Well, if you get a chance to talk to her earlier let me know, and I can swing by on my way there. Should be online most of the day (yeah, I have no life), so just let me know. :)

If we do try Panera, I'm soooo getting a bread bowl of French onion, yuuuummm. Haven't had one of those in months.

What time, theoretically, would you swing by to grab me? And how long would you stay out?
I ask these because I know my mother will ask, haha.

I will be there shortly after 5, but will have Mr. B there with me, so we'll be back in the toy section with the trains. For those who have my cell #, you can either txt me when you get there, or send someone back to collect us. =)

Well, while I'd love to be around y'all that long, my mom probably wouldn't appreciate it, hah. I have 3 brothers I sort of have to babysit (even though they're all basically in high school, she doesn't like them home alone) and she doesn't get home 'til 6-6:30, so today I guess is a no-go.
Are you still up to possibly picking me and Anna up on Sunday mornings?

Hi,
I'm promoting nanwrimo at the Woodworth Library at Ft. Gordon. Several of our patrons who are participating have inquired about when nanowrimers get together and whether we are having any get togethers here at Ft. Gordon. Our hours are 9AM-8PM Monday -Thursday and Sat-Sun 10AM- 6PM. We aren't allowed to have food or drinks here though. Anyway, if anybody is interested in having a get together out here at Ft. Gordon at the library or elsewhere on base let me know!

I can come and get you around 6:30, just send me directions to your house. I'll PM (think I can do that on here) my cell and you can call me. I pass right by there. Also, I am open as to what time I leave BAM.

We'll definitely have to get talking and see if we can't come up with a Saturday write-in or something. :) I can also give rides to people from post (on a first-come, first served basis in my minivan) who want to come to the off-post meetings. Just let me know!
