I started late, I am far behind, does anyone in Grahamstown have an old laptop to loan me for the duration? I haven't felt this way since my last essay back in the Cretacious Period. Reply to Boggin Books in Peppergrove Mall.

I cant believe I am doing this...

Step 1: Don't panic - you've got lots of time. Just work out how many words a day you need to clock 50 000 by the end of November and try and keep to it.

Step 2: Get in touch with the EC Crowd, there are lots of Gatstaders - a wonderful bunch of loonies who will give you all the support you need.

Step 3: If you don't manage to find a laptop, get in touch with David Seven - he is so mad he does Nano the old fashioned way, pen and paper. He'll have lots of tips and advice for you.

Step 4: Don't panic.

That is sooo funny!
My household and I had a spontaneous listening to three hours of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy today; niiice way of getting my imagination bouncing off all the walls :o)

And Twacky; you'll be ok! You're not really behind; just jump in where you are! You'll have a grrrreat time; especially from the initial adrenalin rush you get when you realize you really are on your way!!! And then you just keep on writing ...

Good Luck!

lol! Thanks for the tips guys. I feel better already ;) I have a tentative tip 6 to offer: do not listen to the radio while writing or you may inadvertently find yourself inserting Amor and Joost clones into your novel...

Step 7: Watch a cheesy romance/soap on E-TV..;..nothing picks your spirits up like seeing how badly other people write :D
