Anyone in the Georgetown area or close by who wants to get together somewhere for a write-in?

I'm in Round Rock, barely inside the Williamson County line. I go to Georgetown via 1460 (A.W. Grimes), though I usually get lost once 1460 hits Georgetown. Would like to try a write-in but I don't do Austin traffic, especially after dark. Georgetown might be good!

I'm in SE Georgetown, so I'm not far from where 1460 intersects Inner Loop. In the past, I think there was a write-in at Georgetown Library, but I can't recall for sure.

There were write-ins sponsored by the G'town library in - I think - 2007, but nothing since. They have some conference rooms on the second floor (and a cafe on the first floor!). Here's the link to their website, and here is information about their meeting room policy.
I think that some of the cafes near the square might welcome you at non-peak times. I'm pretty sure The Monument Cafe has wi-fi, and my husband has worked there happily during off-hours in the past. If you meet at one of these places, make sure to tip ostentatiously!

I would probably be able to make it to something during the day at the Georgetown Library. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but it's a nice, new, huge building.

I know exactly what you mean about the parking. They didn't plan for that very well when they built that huge, gorgeous new building. And I'm up for daytime writing! :)

We've got evening write-ins, NOT in Austin, but @ the Vino 100 at SH-45 and I-35, by the Target store. 6-9PM, 1st, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays. Non-alcoholic beverages, beer, and nibblies/meals also available there.
Just sayin'.
Well, I'm hosting it, so I guess I'm just promotin'...

I saw that and I'd try to go tomorrow, but it's my son's birthday. I'd love to see some of the stuff in RR/Pflug/Leander/GT/CP be during the day when kiddos are at school.
