Hi Everyone,
I plan to go out to Barnes & Noble to write for a while tonight. Come on out and join me if you can. You'll know me by the red Mac! (Oh and I'll put up a NaNoWriMo table tent too!) I'll try to be there by 6:30.

Hope to see you there!
Lynn

I will be there, probably earlier than that, 5:30 or so. I'll be the one with the bright red hair and the deep look of consternation. :)

It was great to meet you. :)

I got a total of 3700 words done today!!!! Approximately 3000 of them while sitting at B&N.

I also had a bit of an epiphany. One of the things that I love the most about writing is getting to know my characters. I fall in love with them as their stories unfold, and I love that ... the feeling of discovery and wonder at someone (granted someone fictional and in my head but still) new.

I hate every word I've written so far this year. This piece is largely autobiographical. I am writing about myself, my experiences. There is no wonder, no joy in discovering the character. No falling in love.

I wish my muse had given me fiction. *sigh*
