Anybody living in this area and willing to meet and write in the Westmount library or in a cafe on Greene Avenue or around the Victoria Avenue - Sherbrooke area?
Days and times can be discussed.

Hallo from across the way, into NDG I am.

I'd been keen on walking over to any of the above assorted venues.

Sunday and Monday equal the end of the week. Evenings are better.

Tuesdays around about six forty in the eve, once done at the place of employment, work well too.

Sunday is fine with me. We could do 3-5 at the Westmount library (closes at 5 on Sunday).
Or we can do Sunday 4-6 at some cafe. If you prefer the second choice, I will "see" which one is more appropriate and let you know by Saturday.

See you soon

I'm in NDG too. I'm planning on going to the downtown write-in this Sunday but would enjoy going to a closer one on future weekends. Westmount Library is definitely good.

Aye, I like the library idea. Comparatively contrasting with the one o'clock cafe time at Guy and Ste-Catherine.

Write in the loud for a few hours and then write in the quiet for a couple more.

Five hours equals tonnes of words, provided procrastination stays away.

I might be able to make this, but I'm not so sure. I'm an NDG'er myself, but every weekend in November this year is packed solid with stuff to do.

Okay. I will see you at the Westmount library at 3 o'clock this Sunday. I will be in the ground floor area close to the reference books. I have a Mac, wear glasses, short hair. How about you?

3 o'clock in the afternoon in the reference area, groovy! Tomorrow it is.

I shall post a photo to my profile tonight, once back from work after eleven at night, so you'll know who to look out for.

I'd love to do that sometime! In fact, I'm at the library now...

I was there! But everybody I saw seemed to be studying. I even went walking around with my laptop out, so you could see the stickers.

You guys have to hit one of the ML-hosted events so you can get a sticker or something for your computers! Did anyone else go?

I was there! But, as you said, everyone was studying, the tables were full. I had no idea if anyone was there, so I eventually just found a little table and wrote. Maybe it was because of the book sale, though, that it was so busy?

Yeah, the book sale was a big distraction, and there were probably a lot more people there than usual because of Doors Open Montreal. I couldn't even park on the same block as my house because of an open house at Villa Maria and Marianopolis.

I'll try to make it again next Sunday around the same time, if anyone's interested. I'll even wear my beige cap, so you can see me. if anything, you can't miss the eight NaNo stickers on my laptop.

I was there but it was a zoo because of the book sale. In any case, it did serve the puprose. I did wirte 1500 words and got to know my character a little bit more. But I will try for this again next week. Will post a time by Thursday the latest.

thanks

Efi
p.s. will have a sign with me saying NANOwriting (right next to me).

Are you all trying again for this week? If so, I'd love to join. I'm in St-Henri, right down the hill from you guys. :)
