First off, I am terribly sorry I never made it to the kick off party. I expect those of you who went will be glad, because I ended up having the H1N1 "pig plague" as my friends call it. The last thing you wanted was to catch this nasty bug, trust me.
That said, I did need to finish the article, so I snagged a quote or two out of one of Rintaran's posts to flesh out the article. If anyone has pictures from the kick off party though, could you e-mail them to me? stacey@northernlife.ca

There were only three pictures taken from the kick off, none of them usable for publication, in my opinion.
I definitely wouldn't appreciate seeing the one of myself in print.

I agree, none of the photos from the kick-off were particularly flattering, and I'm sure people would rather not have their own shots in the paper.
Correction to the article you posted, we are NOT in a word war against Ottawa or Ontario :: Elsewhere. At no point was this ever stated. I mentioned that I was comparing our totals with theirs, but there is no competition between these regions and our own.
