In the spirit of NaNoWriMo, this waited until the last possible effing second... ;)

We are a GO for writing during the evening at Hub Comics (Bow St in Union Square, Somerville), any Tuesday of this month that we so choose.

I am honestly probably too tired to make it out there tonight, though I might head over for a little while around 7:30 or 8.

However, everyone else should certainly feel free to go hang out!

I will bump this post again on weeks that I'll be going for sure. :)

OH YAY I'M SO GLAD YOU POSTED THIS

Seriously after the day I'm having, settling in to a write-in is really all I want to do. Yessss.

So uh can I just walk in and say I'm there to write? Should I say Vivienne sent me? Will anyone be there besides me? *waves forlornly at internets*

Added bonus for anyone who shows up tonight: you get to see Grace on 3+ Red Bulls, which is always entertaining. Or so I'm told.

I'm definitely considering it. I could use a write-in tonight.

When are you thinking of heading over there Grace?

I'll probably get there by 7. Maybe earlier, if I'm allowed to leave work on time. (she says wistfully)

Also I've never actually been to Hub Comics, so there's of course always the possibility that I'll get horribly lost and get there around midnight... you think I'm kidding. But yeah, if everything goes according to plan I should be there by 7. And I'll stay til they kick me out, basically.

Yep, just let 'em know you're there for NaNoWriMo!

You can certainly go ahead and blame it on me. ;)

Jesse'll be the nerdy guy in a tie at the counter. Say hello, taunt him for not participating, and then settle down to write!

Depending on how my laundry-and-catching-up-on-work goes, I may be over in the area around 8, I think.

So yeah, Hub Comics is basically awesome. I kind of want to move in.

I mean, having Ozymandias staring down at me while I wrote was kind of intimidating, but other than that...

(and James was pretty much fantastic)

Yay, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hub is one of my favorite places ever.

I'll definitely be in for next week, so hopefully you'll be able to make it back again!

Bumpity bump! Just a reminder to anyone who wants to come out that tomorrow night Hub Comics will be hosting us again for anyone who is interested.

This is even more casual than any of the satellite write-ins... Just come when you want, and leave when you want! I'll be there in the neighborhood of 7PM and on through the evening. Huzzah!

OONTZ OONTZ OONTZ

THIS THREAD IS BUMPING

And so too will Hub Comics be tonight. Be there. Be writerly. Oh delight!

Again, I'll be getting there in the neighborhood of 7 PM, probably doing a quick Bloc 11 run for delicious sustenance (I'm squeezing pilates between work and writing ;D) and then writing till Jesse and James give me dour looks and kick me out. Join us!

I'll be there before 7:00, if last time is any indication. I'm planning to dash out of work as early as humanly possibly, so it may even be around 6:00pm. James seemed nice last time, he'll probably let me get to work early right?

Vivienne,

Just wanted to say thanks for setting this up. It turns out that I will be teaching on Tuesday nights until 9:30 pm, so I won't be able to make any of these (sob!) but I really appreciate having the theoretical option to attend.

Have fun without me, everyone!

Patricia

dude ME TOO.

I'm actually planning to move in. Over the next few weeks I'll leave more and more of my personal belongings scattered throughout the store and hope they don't notice, and then by the time I'm sleeping on the couch they'll just be used to the extra stuff.

this plan rocks, right?

It rocks, it rolls, and it sleepily pulls up the blankets.

I don't think I've ever laughed this much at a write-in. I've got a red airship wearing a hat thanks to all of you, and dealing with those repercussions should be good for a few thousand words. I will somehow work in Dorothy Parker, Evil Dorothy Parker, and Post-Op Dorothy Parker. And the continuation to the story of Merlene, involving the Winchesters and the Criminal Minds guys? Genius.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and declare the Hub Comics write-ins superior to all other write-ins anywhere on the planet, and possibly on several other planets as well. Even though I've never been to any other write-ins.

This Tuesday, Dorothy Parker, Evil Mustache Dorothy Parker, and Post-Op Dorothy Parker may very well be spotted once again at Hub Comics.

I'll again be there around 7 PM (or perhaps later, depending on how many quarters I have to feed those bleeping meters), and I believe Grace is headed over shortly, so you'll be in good company all day. Hopefully some of other folks from last week will be joining too.

See you all tonight! :)

The last Tuesday of November. Shall we mark it with more writings at the Hub of Comics? Who is bringing the crazy this week? I'm 3,000 words behind (totally doable!) and I'm looking for inspiration. See y'all there...

Once more, with feeling, the Post-Op Dorothy Parker

Inspiration? How about listening to Tom Lehrer's "Masochism Tango?" That should certainly inspire anyone. :)

I'll probably stop by for a little while, but I have to come home and do Thanksgiving things (ie, clean the house) so it won't be long. Also, there's the chance I'll have to stay late at work, in which case I won't come at all...

also I'm almost 20k behind, which is just depressing, so I kind of hate my NaNo right now...

Grace, I hear ya. I haven't hit the 25,000 word mark yet! Egads! I'm on a mission, though.

And because of that mission, I'll have to bow out on this fantastic write-in tonight. You guys are a rockin' group, but I fear my word count suffers at the hand of your devilry. Oh, what a seductive hand it is.
