It's nothing fancy, but it's fit for purpose, and we're going to put it to good use this coming Thursday -- November 5th -- with an online write-in. We'll be starting from 6:30pm and going on until... well, until we get tired. =D If you can't make it for 6:30, don't worry -- drop in any time; chances are someone will be there!
We'll be hosting short sprints and word challenges, and there'll be plenty of chat and banter throughout the night. This is a great way to meet your fellow wrimos in real-time, especially if you can't make it to many write-ins (or even if you can. As ever, all welcome!)
We're hoping to make online write-ins a regular thing, so it would be great if we saw you there.
Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas? Let us know in this thread.

Am going to give this one a go - I'm feeling like finding time for NaNoWriMo is hard seeing as I have mountains of schoolwork/ unis admission things going on at the moment, so it'll be cool just setting Thursday night to one side for writing fic.

oohh sounds like a plan :D I will be there, and I will probs be on until about 2am the following morning, thats my normal writing time. Though I am taking the rest of this evening off to spend time with the hubby so that he doesnt feel like he is being ignored.

Since I will probably have to forgoe fireworks because I have a presentation tomorrow and a suit to iron and a bag to pack and a room to tidy for the invasion of flatmate's family, I hope to be there! I really need a boost to my wordcount, since my cousin will be unlikely to allow me to steal her computer to do more writing after I take her out for dinner ... unless I make it a rule because I've taken her out to dinner? What do you think - too sneaky?
