If you make your word count today you are 1/10 of the way to your ultimate word count. Go you!
Do you have a favorite character yet? What about them makes them your favorite?
I'm actually finding that I don't really like my MC's. I'm looking for an opportunity right now to bring in some secondary character that helps with the plot, as well as causes issues and conflict between the MC's who are married.
I'm hoping to bring some bandits into the story soon.

I am so far a little ahead of schedule. One of the rare times that being sick worked in my favor. I wasnt able to get out of bed and sleeping just wasnt an option. So I got lots of writing done. I still have that voice in the back of my head telling me its absolute drivel but I am not going back to fix it. Yes my internal editor is rattling the bars but I havent let her out.
My favorite character is actually a secondary character named William. He is the go to guy sort. the one that is always there to try and pick up the pieces. He would fix everything if I let him but whats the fun in that?

Day three. Things are going swimmingly (good thing I like swimming). My favorite character is someone who has been fighting with herself internally for years and is just now figuring things out...with the voice of her long dead mother helping out. The question is, where's the voice really coming from and is it really helping? Comedy ensues because this is NaNo!

I managed a 2100+ day today to bring me over 5800 words. I'm very happy with the plot my story is finally taking on. It's going to be awesome fun and I'm madly taken with most of my characters. I can't wait to bring in the Big Bad later in the story! But I'm not going to rush into it like I have before. I'm savoring the slow build of doom.
Can I get a "Mwahaha"?

I've caught back up! And then some. I am so excited about my story... its amazing to be this pumped up. Last year I struggled from the begining. This year I was frothing at the mouth in October, just waiting to start writing about Kisa, Landon, and the rest. I've just reached my first real fight scene and I still have about 2000+ words to transfer from my notebook into type. :-)

I'm sorely behind everybody once again. Between time change, work, and a few other bothersome things, I started writing today!!! But I'm sure I'll catch up with most of you by the middle of the month. I do my best work right about then. Think I started out this way last year. But I haven't been completely idle. Brainstorming story the whole time. Had to look back at last year's script to remember where I left off and what didn't get resolved yet. Right now, Jaylin is with Natalia at the doctor's office getting ready for Natalia's exam. Natalia seems completely out of it, so Jaylin's not sure if its shock, or something else. Natalia is hiding a lot, I can feel it. And I think she really doesn't want to know the results of this exam.
I could write more tonight, but I have to get up early tomorrow for work. Will write tomorrow and Thursday. Motivation.

Yay, I made it to 5054 today! Had a little catching up to do, but Big Hawk, Kenrick, Hiding Cathy and (yet unnamed MC) are preparing to take some unauthorized travel! Kenrick can set it up because he's a computer genius! Yeah, this is a fun one. Go Nano writers!

You have to build it up before you tear it down, right? Mwahaha!
I'm creating the downward spiral of a straight A high school student. I feel kind of bad for her, because as I'm writing she keeps trying to get herself back on track, and then I step in and mess something up for her again. I can't wait to get to the fun part I'm planning either! It's going to be so much fun to write.

Still going strong. I'm definitely going to take it easy during the week, as my wrist is complaining loudly right now. The story though... ah, I love this story. I mean, my actual prose kinda sucks, but the story coming out is strong.

Ok, im done writing tonight, im falling asleep. I didnt quite make the 5001 mark, i hit 4458. After the first two days i ran out of "stall and wing it" juice. I think ive got some ideas on where the story might be heading though and so once i finally got through the block things came pretty easy... just slow since i kept having to fight sleep. I'll get caught up though.
