So, I'm around 20,000 words behind where I want to be. I'm also absolutely refusing to give up this early in the game. It's all well and good to quit in week three when you realize you really, honestly can't sustain a grueling pace for an extended period of time. To quit on day three is just pathetic. So I'm still aiming for 200k, and I'm trying to find some way to make up my deficit.
I have no ability to motivate myself. If someone isn't breathing down the back of my neck, I get jackshit done. Always. So I'm looking for a conscience who wants to write a ridiculous amount this Thursday, so we can motivate each other. It can be in person (I offer my apartment as writing space, so long as you have no dog allergies), or we can motivate each other online. I just need someone to struggle with, and I thought it'd be more fun to get some local competition going.
Anyone want a rival?

I'm free all day long. My only commitment is a few minutes between 5:30pm and 8pm to take an online test, but that shouldn't take more than twenty minutes. Other than that, I'm pretty much open.

Good luck on you goal! I have to work that after noon til 6:00. I have animal allgergies...Yes, animals...It's horrible, no pets for me as a child, But I can pop on after to try to whip you into shape!
