Whoo! Just got there fifteen minutes ago--so psyched! I've fallen in love with my characters and this story is just exploding under my fingertips. Yes!

Congrats, especially on enjoying it so much! I got there last night...somehow I feel like I've been writing really slowly so far, but I guess I'm not.

I just checked my word count after an action-packed scene, and found I was at 10,259 words!

Yaaay I love being in the 5-figures club!

I was so on a roll by the write in, that I went home and wrote another 1800 words! I'm up to 10,600 now. Though I'm not entirely sure how the scenes I wrote last night will fit in my story. But they were begging to be written, and who am I to turn down a gift from the muse? What a great and crazy adventure this is!

I just passed 10K this morning.

When your inner editor says that your writing stinks, tell it: "Yeah, so?"

Of course it stinks. That's why it's called a FIRST draft.

As of a few minutes ago, I am at 10,073! I am a bit behind my personal word count goal, but I plan to write a lot this weekend, starting with tomorrow's (today's) write-in at the library. Still, yay 10K!

Finally! I've been behind all week, and now I'm still "behind," but it feels a lot less bad. I'll be ahead of schedule by the end of the weekend.

I'm behind, but I hit 10000 yesterday, I'm trying to catch up to the end of the weekend goal today, but I guess I should bask in the glow that is 10000 first.

Represented!

This is more than I wrote last year and the year before. A clip of 1,000 per day, which is not on pace, but I have some time off toward month's end to make a run. The bottom line, though, is this. I used to write. I've gotten away from it for about seven years and this is the first time in that time that I've sat down and substantially written some fiction ten days in a row. In that sense, I have already won!

11124 on Tuesday night. Writing on my own schedule has already beat my word count from last year. I'm hoping for 15k+ today, which is my first day off since Halloween.

11k+ when I stopped last night, having finally reached that 5 figure plateau. I'm wayyyy behind as I've only been able to average about a thousand words a day, but I did burn through about 3500 yesterday, so maybe things are picking up and I'll be able to catch up. weeeee

Woohooo! I did it...I'm there! I've finally made it. I thought writing these stories down would be a piece of cake since I tell most of them all the time to people, but it's harder than I thought because I slang a lot when I'm talking but writing them I'm trying not to slang and that makes it more difficult, plus I don't have my body gestures to act out the story so I have to describe things more.

But I finally hit 10K and I'm going to keep going. On Ward to 20K
